Iron Invictus Expands Into The Iron Guilds’ Open Gaming Community

Iron Invictus Is Evolving

When Iron Invictus joined The Iron Guilds, its identity was centered around our Destiny 2 clan. Destiny remains an important part of Invictus, but as The Iron Guilds continues to grow, we’ve realized there is an opportunity for Invictus to become something larger.

Going forward, Iron Invictus will serve as the open gaming community within The Iron Guilds.

Unlike Iron Wolves and Iron Vanguard, which operate as organized guilds for specific games, Iron Invictus will provide a home for players across a much wider range of games.

Whether you’re raiding in Destiny 2, jumping into a new multiplayer release, looking for people to play a co-op game with, or simply want to be part of The Iron Guilds community, Iron Invictus is open to you.

One Requirement: Be 18+

We’re keeping membership simple.

If you’re 18 or older, you’re welcome to join Iron Invictus.

There is no formal application or recruitment process for Invictus.

New members can join The Iron Guilds Discord, complete Discord onboarding, select the games they’re interested in, and start meeting other members of the community.

Our goal isn’t to put barriers between players and the community. It’s to make it easier for people to find others who enjoy the same games.

Destiny 2 Isn’t Going Anywhere

This change does not mean we’re moving away from Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 remains an official game within Iron Invictus, and our existing Destiny clan will continue operating as part of the community.

The difference is that Destiny 2 no longer defines the entirety of Iron Invictus.

Instead, it becomes one of the games around which the Invictus community is organized.

That gives us room to support other games without having to create an entirely new Iron Guild every time members decide to jump into something new.

A Home for Games Without Their Own Guild

The Iron Guilds currently has dedicated organizations for some of our largest communities.

Iron Vanguard represents our World of Warcraft Retail guild.

Iron Wolves represents our WoW Forever guild.

Those communities have dedicated leadership, recruitment, rosters, and guild-specific systems because the games themselves support that kind of long-term organization.

Not every game needs that.

That’s where Iron Invictus comes in.

If members want to organize groups for shooters, RPGs, survival games, co-op games, MMOs, or whatever everyone happens to be playing that month, they can do it through Invictus.

A game doesn’t need 50 players and a complete leadership structure before it has a place within The Iron Guilds.

It just needs people who want to play together.

Games Can Grow From Here

Iron Invictus also gives new gaming communities somewhere to begin.

If a game becomes especially popular within Invictus, we can create dedicated Discord channels, events, groups, and organization around it.

And if one of those communities eventually becomes large enough to justify becoming a full Iron Guilds branch of its own, we have the ability to take that step.

In that sense, Invictus becomes both a community and an incubator for what The Iron Guilds might become next.

The Iron Guilds Is More Than One Game

This change reflects what we’ve always wanted The Iron Guilds to become.

Games change. People move between them. New games release, old friends return, and sometimes everyone suddenly decides they’re playing something completely different on Friday night.

The community shouldn’t disappear when that happens.

Iron Invictus gives everyone a place to stay connected regardless of what game they’re currently playing.

Iron Wolves has its home.

Iron Vanguard has its home.

And now Iron Invictus is becoming the home for everything in between.

18+. Any game. One community.

Welcome to Iron Invictus.
