Iron Wolves Is Building an In-Game Guild Addon for WoW Forever

The Iron Wolves are taking advantage of the WoW Forever Beta to build something specifically for our guild: the Iron Wolves Guild Manager.
Our goal with the addon is simple: keep more of the guild experience inside the game.
Modern gaming communities often rely heavily on Discord, websites, spreadsheets, and other external tools. Those tools aren’t going away—we’ll still use Discord for communication and community organization—but we believe many of the things players need while actively playing should be available without leaving WoW.
That’s what we’re working toward with the Iron Wolves Guild Manager.
Built Around the Guild
The addon is being developed specifically around how Iron Wolves plans to operate in WoW Forever.
We’re currently experimenting with systems for guild management, raid organization, attendance tracking, loot management, guild events, recruitment, and other tools that normally require players or officers to leave the game.
The idea isn’t to turn WoW into a spreadsheet.
It’s the opposite.
We want players spending less time managing the game outside of the game and more time actually playing it.
Built During the Beta
WoW Forever is still in Beta, which makes this the perfect time for us to build and test the addon alongside the game.
Features will change. Things will break. Some ideas will work, while others may be completely redesigned as we learn more about Forever’s addon API and what our guild actually needs.
Our members will play an important part in that process.
As development continues, we’ll be testing features with the guild, collecting feedback, fixing problems, and expanding the addon based on how Iron Wolves actually uses it.
More Than an Officer Tool
While guild leadership needs tools to organize the community, we don’t want the addon to exist only for officers.
The long-term goal is to create something every Iron Wolves member has a reason to use.
Whether you’re raiding, leveling, running dungeons, participating in world PvP, checking guild events, or just hanging out with the community, we want the addon to make being part of Iron Wolves easier without pulling you away from the game.
And yes—we’re also experimenting with a few things that are there simply because they’re fun.
Forged Alongside the Community
Iron Wolves is being built from the ground up for WoW Forever, and we’re approaching our addon the same way.
This isn’t a finished product being dropped on the guild after launch. It’s something we’re building with our players during the Beta and something that can continue growing alongside the guild.
We’ll be sharing more information as development progresses, including deeper looks at individual features and new systems as they’re ready for testing.
For now, the forge is lit.
